Dr. Faryal Azam
Dr. Faryal Azam (27OA00721400) graduated with honors from Temple University located in Philadelphia, PA and then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2012 from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts.
Professional experience includes primary care optometry, specialty contact lens fitting including scleral lenses, Pediatric eye exams, ocular surgery co-management, diagnosis and management of ocular disease and ocular emergencies. Prior to starting Complete Eye Care, she practiced at Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston where she helped patients with visually impairing corneal disorders regain their vision and improve their quality of life with the use of specialty contacts.
Today, Dr. Azam sees patients for all aspects of primary eye care including routine eye exams for eyeglasses and contact lenses, evaluation, and management of chronic and acute eye diseases, including dry eye, eye allergies, diabetic retinopathy (DR), macular degeneration (AMD) and glaucoma, post operative surgical management of cataracts & LASIK as well as fitting of routine and specialty contact lenses including scleral contact lenses and contact lenses for corneal disease. Dr Azam strives to ensure the patients receive the best care so they can see their best.
In addition to her clinical skills, Dr. Azam is fluent in both Urdu and Hindi and has a good understanding of Spanish. When not helping her patients, she travels regularly and enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids.
